The minor melody is stated first as a ballad then in a 5/4 rock groove. Solos are played over minor blues harmonies and are followed by a virtuoso sax soli. The melody comes back in a trumpet fortissimo, before everything turns fine in a soft bossa outro.

The basie-style blues arrangement provides a medium difficult feature-chorus for each section, saxophones, trumpets and trombones. In between there is a lot of space for soloists. The ironic coda cites many other well-known blues heads. It´s a fun piece, offering the occasion to present all members of the band.
