After the woodwind intro soprano sax and guitar play the head. The solo-part is open for several soloists. Flutes, clarinets and percussion dominate the sound of the minimalistic interlude, where time seems to float and which offers space for a tenor solo. The backings played by woodwinds, trombones, flugelhorns and percussion lead to the coda, which pays tribute to the head. Finally, the piece comes to an end in the outro, solely played by guitar and piano. An ambitioned piece for ambitioned bands.

After solos on the original groove, alto 1 is challenged by playing over the new chords and massive backgrounds. Finally the piece turns into a 6/8 afro-cuban groove, space for a modal solo.
